What can we do to stop this behavior ?”

Lisa asked for help with her sometimes grouchy lab puppy….
“My puppy is a lab about 9months and loves people but when he is sleeping and we try to get him to get up so we can bring him in the room so he won’t roam around the house and chew everything. He will show teeth and growl even to us.He is very friendly unless he wants attention then he will nibble are hands try to get us to play. He is very active we take him swimming and walking and running daily. He is getting better except for the sleep part. Why does he do that and what can we do to correct that?”

“I recently got a chihuahua puppy about 4 days ago, and having a horrible time with potty training her, especially at night time, when she’s in her crate. I have not been using the divider that came along with the crate, but I put a puppy pad on one end of the crate, and a towel at the other end. She cries constantly all night long, and poops(not on the pad) and tracks it all over the crate. It gets everywhere and I seem to have to give her a bath every morning. What am I doing wrong?? Should I use the divider? What tips can you give me for nighttime?”
