Mary Ann posted this question:
“I have a blind 9 yr old daschund. When I cage her she poops in her cage and goes in circles and stomps it in. If I let her loose in the house she still poops and sometimes stomps it in. She does this even if she was just out and has taken care of her business. If I take her in the car with me and let her in there on mild days, she does the same thing and stomps into my leather seat. Any suggestions on what to do with her? I have bopped her nose and scolded her numerous times but with no success. She is doing this more and more as time goes by. I love her to death, but this is getting old.”
This is what I had to say….. (more…)

Lisa asked for help with her sometimes grouchy lab puppy….
“My puppy is a lab about 9months and loves people but when he is sleeping and we try to get him to get up so we can bring him in the room so he won’t roam around the house and chew everything. He will show teeth and growl even to us.He is very friendly unless he wants attention then he will nibble are hands try to get us to play. He is very active we take him swimming and walking and running daily. He is getting better except for the sleep part. Why does he do that and what can we do to correct that?”

“My 2 year old labrador Charlie likes eating poop. I give him nutritional supplements but it hasnt stopped him. Any suggestions??”
Lisa asked a similar question:
“My 9month old lab went camping and loved it but we found that he had a bad habbit of finding poop in the bush and would eat it. Its not his own but other animals and human poop. My dog has seen poop before on the side of the road or at the park but never tried to eat it, why at camp?”

Chris posted this question on the submission page:
“I have a 4 month old havanese who thinks every time I call her name I just want to play and she runs around like crazy. If I call her to the door to come inside, she comes right up to the door but then runs away when I try to get her. She is only playing, but it’s driving me nuts. I have 2 other dogs who come as soon as I call them, but she just doesn’t get it. Sometimes it can take 15minutes and 3 people to get her in. I know that chasing her around can’t be helping either. Any suggestions”
Here is the advice I can offer: (more…)
